Sora on Android was just released about a month after “The iOS app hit over a million installs within its first week" - @TechCrunch. Which launch won? 📲 Hint: it wasn't close. One launch was 4X bigger.
The Sora app is now available for Android users in the US, Canada, and Japan, among other regions.

Always loved Sonic. Looks like I’m not the only one
⚡️ Sega’s mascot is still outrunning the new kids. 🏅 Sonic Rumble’s launch has added an estimated 500K+ on top of 10M "Early Rumbler" installs. 360K on iOS alone. Revenue's ramping up. 📈 Already #7 out of 12+ mobile titles in a catalog nearing 1B est. downloads since 2017.

These numbers are just INSANE!
👑 🔥 260M people playing one mobile game every month. That’s equivalent to 75% of the U.S. population — on a single title. Its name: Honor of Kings And it's already cleared $1.82B in 2025 (more than 2024). 🇨🇳 China still dominates spending, but 🇺🇸 U.S. momentum is real.

I’ve been following it since the beginning and it just never really took off… An important lesson in business is sometimes you have to shut it off and move on.
📉 🔪 Supercell kills most games *before* they even ship. It stuck with Brawl Stars and got a $2B+ hit. 💥 It stuck with Squad Busters and got a sunset. 🪦 Lifetime: 34.7M installs, $65M net. Revenue -96% YoY, downloads -88%. 😱 Sometimes endurance ≠ success.

Paid apps just aren't working anymore. That's why only 4.5% of apps in the App Store are not free right now. My favorite example: Monopoly: The Board Game (paid) made $180K in the last 30 days after fees (estimated) while Monopoly Go (free) made $109M after fees (estimated).
