The Fantastic Four: First Steps is so underwhelming I couldn't even give it 4 stars. This should have been called Sue and the Band. Vanessa Kirby single-handedly saved this film. Julia Garner and the delightful Joseph Quinn in supporting were remarkable. Marvel lost me.

One Battle After Another 10/10 My fave thing was the casting of three Oscar A-listers to act dumb like there's nothing left to lose, balanced with three headstrong female actors. Best thing to ever happen in Hollywood! Benicio was my fave. Sean Penn coming for his third Oscar!

Rewatched The Help (2011). Couldn't stop adoring Jessica Chastain's Oscar-nominated performance. Probably my favourite of hers. Octavia Spencer deserved her Oscar win for this film. To this day, she is the only black actress to get two nominations after a win! Queen!
