it's *this* good that i bothered to walk back and forth twice from my bed to my living room where i leave my phone for the night to write in my note app and then put the phone down go back to bed i could write in a notebook but it's not fast enough *this* good

two nights of barely sleeping acute pain in my neck and back still gotta get on a train and a bus and drag that suitcase climb those damn stairs and hope my neighbors are not acting out today

i didn't expect it but we decided to write new messages to open it again in 10 years this time we were 10 to put a message honestly i wasn't inspired and it seemed like as adults we are now overthinking this future stuff a little less spontaneous but still fun

it seems that we remembered things we feared writing and censored so it didn't really show up in messages lol the rule was to write about what we'd be doing 10 years later but we all understood the prompt differently so it was varied in format most of us were 18-21 then

we thought it was from 2009 but it was dated on some notes march 13, 2010 if we had wanted to open it 10 years after it would have been just when covid and lockdowns started

it happened!! we opened our time capsule with messages from 15 years ago! we gathered about 15 people from that time, but only 7 of us had written a note. it was hilarious and also quite interesting, most memories we had of what we thought we wrote were wrong!!!
16 years ago (2009) me, my cousins, and other friends did a time capsule thing with messages for our future selves we were supposed to open it 10 years later but some in our group had a fight, or we just drifted apart and time passed messages are contained inside this chick
