I look forward to working with local communities to enable transformational mission and ministry.
Delighted and thankful that this grant has been awarded. Well done to each and every lay, clergy and congregation member of Team Barking who has helped discern and shape this work, and to diocesan colleagues for their ongoing support.

Huge congratulations to Mike Power, who was collated and installed as Archdeacon of West Ham today. He’s a fine man and a Godly leader who will love the people of East London every bit as much as I have done. @chelmsdio @mike_mikeapower

Great to hear @LynneCullens speak at the launch of the St Martin Centre for Spirituality and Social Justice. Also to receive some deep theological reflections offered by Fr Simon Cuff.

Good to join with friends and colleagues to say farewell to Elwin and Sue and to give thanks for all they have brought to mission and ministry in @chelmsdio over so many years.
Today we said farewell to Archdeacon Elwin, who is retiring after seventeen years of service as Archdeacon of West Ham and thirty three years ministry in Chelmsford Diocese.

I’m always fascinated to discover new things, especially in churches I have visited many times already.

Great to join the community at St George’s, Hornchurch this morning. Good to see how the church is serving in the local community, especially in the many ministries shared between the Hornchurch churches.

A real joy to host Fr Micheal Lawrence, from our link diocese of Trinidad and Tobago. Prayers for the community he serves at St Stephen’s, Princestown. How good it is to deepen our shared ministry and to reflect on our partnership in the global Church.

Great to preside and preach at All Saints’, Squirrels Heath this morning. Great to be with this growing congregation where 1/5th of the congregation are under 10. Also some wonderful intercessions led by two of the youngest members of the Church community.
