Today we welcomed the Venerable Mike Power as Archdeacon of West Ham and gave thanks for his ministry as Archdeacon of Southend.

Great to join the community at St George’s, Hornchurch this morning. Good to see how the church is serving in the local community, especially in the many ministries shared between the Hornchurch churches.

Great to join the Mar Thoma congregation in Collier Row this afternoon. What a beautiful liturgy and such a hospitable community.

Great to preside and preach at All Saints’, Squirrels Heath this morning. Great to be with this growing congregation where 1/5th of the congregation are under 10. Also some wonderful intercessions led by two of the youngest members of the Church community.

Great to visit two deanery synod meetings this evening to talk about plans to resource major missional change and growth across the Barking Episcopal Area. So encouraging to see local communities reflecting together on challenges and opportunities.
