Hello, Aphtwt! I'm coming on here to talk about Astra (@/valkrum_) and bring up a few issues I have with them.

I know this will sound hypocritical on my end, but bringing up your issues with people in a public setting, name dropping them, and then claiming they're manipulators or groomers simply because you don’t like them is disgusting and worrisome.

The people Person A talked about were people I've had issues with in the past, but listening to the space made me incredibly uncomfortable. I reached out to one of the people involved a few weeks ago, and I urge you all to check your strawpages, as you may be someone I messaged.

Person A then went on to name drop and air out their own friend's fallout within the community. They called one of the people involved a manipulator, and then called an entire aphtwt server enablers and disgusting names for minutes on end.

To keep this section short, Person A started off their rant session saying that they'd get in trouble if the people involved knew they were talking about this publicly, since they wanted to keep it private.

About a month later, Person A and their friends hosted another space, where Person A began to air out people's business to the public once more. This one isn’t as concerning as the first, but it's still questionable.

I believe that there's nothing inherently wrong with a minor and adult being friends, as long the people involved have a healthy dynamic. Immediately sexualizing people's friendship just because they have an age gap is ignorant and baseless.

Not only that, but they mentioned this minor - that Person A was claiming they were 'protecting' - BY NAME.

Person A also brought up on their own terms that the artist was friends with a handful of minors in our community. One of the minors defended the artist, and Person A later implied that "the only reason any minor would defend an adult is because they’re being groomed."

They accused this person of being abusive, manipulative, and implied that they were a groomer, yet had ZERO proof for these claims throughout the entire space. The space went on for nearly 3 hours and it was deleted within minutes after it ended.

In once space, they had a group of 7 speakers where they talked horribly about an artist in our community and their friends by name. There were multiple listeners - not including anonymous listeners - sitting in confusion and asking for this artist’s @.

Someone within the group - who we'll call "Person A" - was the common denominator in these situations. They’d bring up drama in a public setting, calling people within the community manipulators, abusers, groomers, and other disgusting names just for the sake of shit-talking.

This has to do with a small group of people that are rather well-known within the community. They hosted twitter spaces quite often during this past summer, some of which were honestly disgusting to listen to.

I've chosen to not name drop anyone involved, since I don't have enough proof and the spaces I will mention in this thread are now deleted. Please read this with an open mind.

I want to start off by saying that this is an issue I've watched from the sidelines for months. It's happened countless times, often stirring up nasty and unnecessary drama within Aphtwt.
