Justice Rangiah in his own words in Lattouf v ABC penalty decision. The broadcaster has been ordered to pay $150,000. I was previously awarded $70,000 for hurt and distress. ABC has spent in excess of $2 million on legal fees. The real cost to Aunty is immeasurable.

@antoinette_news And they continue to let us down every day since by refusing to call Israel's livestreamed genocide a genocide.

@antoinette_news Accountability is needed is ABC is to rectify its vulnerability to siding with powerful groups. Accountability is needed for the decision to sack β but also for the decision to robustly defend the egregious decision-making behind the illegal sacking.

@antoinette_news First and foremost to its reputation. Will it bring about real change @ABCaustralia is the question. Congratulations on your steadfastness.

@antoinette_news So the Jewish Lobby has cost Aussie tax payers in excess of $2 million, Aussies should seek damages from Israeli lobby groups to recoup our hard earned tax dollars back, their influence is the thing that should be investigated.

@antoinette_news Maybe the public should raise a class action against those lobbyists who started all this. It's a disgrace that there's no consequence for them.

@antoinette_news 'Abject surrender' to the Israel lobby by ABC management. Can there be a more damning criticism of a public broadcaster?

@antoinette_news Next stop is protecting the right of cardiologist Peter MacDonald to speak his mind on Palestine in spite of the harassment by his employer St. Vincent's and aggression of select doctors.

@antoinette_news Good on you for taking them to court and shining a light on this insidious persecution of anyone calling out #IsraeliWarCrimes. I am sorry though, for the undoubted impact on you personally and professionally. At least you have been publicly vindicated.

@antoinette_news I don't know that Justice has been served by the monetary penalty, but the apology from the ABC, and being able to say you were right, must be very satisfying. For the ABC the judgement is a huge embarrassment, they bowed to the zionist lobby, and sacrificed an innocent employee.

@antoinette_news Congratulations. Accountability should lie with decision makers and management, but they all appear to have shirked remarkably well, leaving the public broadcaster to pick up the pieces.

@antoinette_news The ABC must sack today everyone involved in this monumentally stupid decision. No excuses - you've got five minutes to vacate the premises or the police will remove you.

@antoinette_news To me , a more just outcome would be the Justice awarding damages to you the same amount the ABC has spent on legal eagles. But a win is a win. Thank you for your dedication

@antoinette_news @MaryKostakidis The amount of liability due to bending over to zionists is enormous. The lies only work inside apartheid israel in a demented society. In other countries, the rules of law apply.

@antoinette_news What a total pile of crap. $220,000 for missing out on 2 days of a 5 day contract because you could keep your terrorism support quiet for a week.

@antoinette_news @MaryKostakidis Why did it spend more on legal fees than it would to settle? Can we send Israel the bill?
