Staunton, Virginia is a beautiful town to visit. I have many fond memories of family reunions there. My first ever concert was seeing the Statler Brothers on Independence Day.

My theory is that a lot of the Orthobro hatred of Rome that you see on here is driven by people bringing their deeply Protestant heritage into their new Orthodox faith. I could be wrong on this. Admittedly, I haven't encountered many Orthodox IRL. I respect the Orthodox, to be.
I largely stay far away from the Protestant vs. Catholic vs. Orthodox disputes, but it really stands out to me (on here) that the overwhelming number of accounts that are deeply angry about the possibility of reconciliation between the East and West of Christendom are Orthobro.

Fallon still tries to be zany and fun. It falls flat sometimes, but he's not delivering long sermons every night.
The only thing interesting or surprising about the Colbert show's cancelation is that Kimmel's and Fallon's shows aren't canceled yet.

I view this as similar to prior complaints about "woke" corporations. Just tell me about your damn product. I really dont care how your company feels about issues wholly unrelated to your product. Its annoying unless it's helping kids with cancer or homeless pets.
