Many talking points by privacy advocates in crypto are red herrings. They defend unrestricted anonymity using privacy arguments. "Privacy is a fundamental human right! If you have nothing to hide, show me your browser history!". Yeah, sure, but this kind of basic privacy is.

Free markets are unregulated, regulated markets are not free. Regulated markets require compliance, crypto promises censorship-resistance. So, where's crypto's real value proposition?.

Name one thing that can be achieved in a strictly regulated environment with permissionless crypto that is technically impossible to achieve with permissioned tokenized fiat systems.
