A long, sunny weekend in Lancashire for a family birthday, where Luna had the time of her life frolicking in rivers & waterfalls with her cousin Bonnie the vizsla. The happiest of times. I’m now back at the drawing board working on what may well be my last ever pet portrait! 😮

I’ve realised that my planned release date of 1st August for my ‘Crussoliceras’ prints isn’t doable as I’ll be at my other job 🤦🏼‍♀️ so I’m bringing it forward to tomorrow instead and all who have pre-ordered will be getting it a little early!.

This little one will be heading off to be scanned this week, with new mini prints available soon after 💛

A beautiful new ammonite underway - I’m really enjoying working on something so different. This one has lovely suture patterns all over it and should look wonderful when finished! 💛

I’m not quite sure what the point of this post is other than to get my thoughts out in the open. Possibly because I’ll never come to any decision going round in circles on my own! But thank you to all who stick with me, you’re what makes me strive to keep going! (4/4).

I feel I need a big change up, to do something different and challenging with my art. Not just for business’s sake but for my own growth as an artist, for my heart and head alike. I’m just not sure what that change should look like. It’s a big decision. Exciting and scary. (3/4).

I’ve also been battling feelings of slight sadness as I question whether art is still a viable career option for me. Last week I applied for a second part time job as an extra safety net, which would mean less time spent on my own work. A necessity rather than a want. (2/4).

It’s been a funny few days, I’ve been busy putting together new branding for my ammonite and future fossil drawings - I’ve been very excited about it even though I know the appeal of these drawings is going to be limited, it’s been nice to do something a bit different. (1/4)

That should say greeting CARDS obviously 🤦🏼‍♀️.

I’d love to create greeting with butterflies on folks, but not sure whether I want a few different designs with a single butterfly on, or a single design with multiple butterflies on…. What do you all think? 🤔
