Update: The hospital deployed five portable/transport ventilators on Thursday and got 18 ICU ventilators from another hospital:

Last yr, a man died after he was not given a ventilator bed and ICU care at Lok Nayak. The 47-ye-old, who was an accused in a police case, was taken to two other govt hospitals in an ambulance. As CT scan was unavailable in those facilities, he was referred to Lok Nayak. (3/3).

Most of the beneficiaries I spoke with remained clueless about where they can avail the scheme.

At many facilities under PMJAY the registrations were still pending, some were in the process of setting up a portal for the billing system, few of them reported issues on the “backend” of the system, many were yet to sign the MoU. (3/3).
