(2) We're confronted by aggression and stigma constantly. Often it's only our own boundaries and biases that keep us safe, and prevent us from being robbed and assaulted etc. Trust must always be earned. Show us that you respect us and we will open up and respect you in turn

(3) I had a client become very aggressive with me over text last night, it scared me. I don't broadcast these things on twitter but they are a reality of the job. If sexworkers seem callous or hard in moments, it may be because we have been hurt before. But we are also resilient

(4) SW has given me a thick skin. But throughout this job I maintain a sweet and caring nature. I am highly empathetic and believe that everyone deserves intimacy and respect. SW has not robbed me of that, however I reserve this for people who deserve it. So be patient with us 💞
