If there is some kind of belief that hate is fueled by the most extreme of individuals, I adamantly disagree. Comments and ideology based in heterosexism and cisgenderism all play a part in the hate and the actions that come from it - whether one partakes or is passive bystander.

And so, I am left with feeling uncertain about what it truly means to have a safe space when it feels like no space is safe. Or at the very least the constant struggle that where we/I feel accepted vacillates between fear and uncertainty.

There are many issues with the immigration system and this oppressive, coercive act is another one that brings more trauma and suffering - purely to maintain power. Today I feel defeated.

This objectification of people as if they are nothing brings me rage because of what is being done and helplessness because I cannot do enough.

The majority of the migrants are Venezuelans. I have family who have migrated bc they were left with no other choice but to go to other countries - people who have never gone through such a hardship can never understand how this impacts family bc all we want to do is be together.

I feel rage. The inhumanity of busing/boarding migrants to locations by lying to them about opportunities for work, paperwork expeditions is appalling. Abbott and DeSantis claiming "credit" for doing some of this in Texas (as if it were something to be proud of) is disgusting.
