🖤Arturito Pomar juega en la América de Trump. "The Pawn", traducción al inglés de "El peón" de Paco Cerdà, se publica el 1 de junio en EEUU. Y esta es su portada. ♟️Una jugada para estos tiempos.

Where to even start? But I'm going to mention 'All dogs are blue' by Rodrigo de Souza Leão, translated by @ZAPTranslations.
Let's celebrate the voices that shape Brazilian literature!. July 25th marks National Writer’s Day: a tribute to the talent, imagination and critical thought of those who transform words into worlds. Tell us which Brazilian author or book has left a mark on you?

50-50 split. I'm leaning towards Barcelonan unless anyone has a compelling reason otherwise. .
In English, which sounds more natural (or is seen more commonly) to describe something from Barcelona? #amtranslating.

If literature is art and if books are culture, then AI can play no part in writing or translating works of fiction. Only the products of human endeavour, creativity and intelligence can be considered art or culture by the very definition of those words.

An utter disgrace if this is allowed to become law. The right and far-right in Alicante have voted in favour of declaring the city a Spanish-speaking zone in a move that would all but wipe out Valencian from official usage and presence in public institutions.

Buzzing with enthusiasm after delivering a creative translation workshop to a group of Y6 students, who really engaged with the Spanish-language poem. Translation is a powerful tool for developing a range of transferible cross-curricular skills!.@StephenSpender @TranslationExch.
