Lack of available info about deliveries leads to courier companies & merchants having to field large volumes of 'where is my order' queries. However, @andyhza says data-driven solutions are being rolled out to address these issues:

When it comes to ecommerce, reliability over speed for deliveries for sure. I see quick commerce (very fast deliveries,) which is also growing in popularity, as a whole other category e.g. mostly for things like groceries.

Trying to predict the USD/ZAR exchange rate in the short term is a mugs game. I should follow my own advice and just accept what it is at the time as in the short term at any point in time it is a coin toss as to which way it is going to go.
