Confessions of a Russian Propagandist: my piece for @TheAtlantic on the evolution of Russian propaganda and the people behind it—from my own experience working inside the Kremlin’s notorious media machine. https://t.co/TOW3nXzI6n

The Kremlin’s information war in the West is reminiscent of the one it fought—and won—on the home front.

I can’t speak for Hamas, but I don’t see the logic in attacking Israel after giving up their only leverage (the hostages).

My piece for The Atlantic, “Putin Is Not Winning,” has been republished by Slate France. I’m glad the argument is making its way to Europe — to readers at the forefront of the struggle against Russian imperialism. Merci à @Slatefr

Depuis plus de vingt ans, le président russe entretient un mythe d'invincibilité qui dépasse les frontières. Même quand la Russie s'enlise…

I spent years inside Russia’s propaganda system—and even we couldn't imagine how inflated Putin’s strength would become in the West. My latest for The Atlantic explains how that illusion works.
Russia’s leader isn’t nearly as strong as he’s made out to be, @andryvkin writes. “A realistic view of his power would strip Putin of his biggest leverage: the perception of his invincibility”:

If you Google phrases such as victory for Putin and big win for Putin, you find news stories stretching back years. But overestimating his power means doing Putin's job for him. My new piece in The Atlantic: “Putin Is Not Winning.” https://t.co/LrIHq79HSs

Underestimating the Russian leader is dangerous, but ascribing dark powers to him plays right into his hands.

I don’t think it matters to Trump who the Mayor/Governor/Vice President is. If he wants a war, he just starts one.
Giuliani endorsing this nobody instead of Cuomo makes it clear how much Trump wants Mamdani to win so he can more easily expand his war on US cities to New York. The Dems are making it easier with their candidates in this case, of course.

Putin isn’t an aberration of Russia. He’s the country’s reflection, the sum of its choices, fears, and resentments. When he bombs Ukraine, he acts with the permission of millions who built the world that made him possible.

Best political ad from the Dems I’ve seen in years. Don’t do Schumer; do everything like this.

One battle after another is one of the best films I’ve seen in my lifetime. Not a hyperbole.

I disagree with most commentators who know just how out of touch this video is. A private jet is something to aspire to; a status symbol. This video effectively conveys that being a conservative (and taking away people’s healthcare) will make your life better.
University of Arkansas, we are on the way now to kick off my 10-stop campus tour! We’ve already sold two different rooms so we are on the way to the biggest room possible to fit as many students as we can! See y’all on the ground soon!

So many people have signed up for my lecture and Q&A at Columbia on Sept 30th that they had to open an additional auditorium to fit everyone in. If you want to know how the Kremlin markets its war like Netflix and Nike, you can register here:
