faith takes too long to use normally so he will 9/10 times kill me, but hidden behind a rock is fast enough to be done before vanish ends. I can also get a couple of hits on him if he's close enough!.

my strat for this healing in this fight is using vanish. everyone says bring potions or ethers since the remnant will heal when you cast cure, but I just used vanish, made sure he's not locked onto me anymore, and then cast faith.
