Last two days are slowing sinking in! . Really proud of my races and results but also my numbers and data. It’s all looking better than expected and building nicely for the Ironman Worlds . I really do feel racing is the best “testing” you can do! No lactate strips here 🫠

Jesus just looked at my Strava and saw that I set my PB up Alpe Dhuez today on smashed legs. Maybe there is something to this fatigue resistance training?! . Very very proud of that. 📈🥵

No idea how I did that! . 22nd overall at the Alpe Dhuez middle distance race after long course yesterday! . Racing for fun with zero pressure! I actually had decent legs and one of the fastest run splits! 💪. Two of the world’s hardest triathlons done before the weekend! 🥵🫠

Morning recovery jog, how could you not in a place like this? . This afternoon we go again. ! 1.5km swim, 38km bike 1200m⬆️ 6.5km run. Full gas!! . @alpe_triathlon

The bike and run all on strava! . That run course never gets easier running at 1900m altitude . But it’s the best I’ve felt running up here and fastest I’ve gone. Things going very well for @IRONMANtri World champs!

Solid day out! Big PB for me at Alpe Dhuez long course triathlon finishing in 6:19! Came 40th overall of around 60 pro males in a really staked field! . PB for me across swim bike and run so really happy despite how bloody hard this race is! . Tomorrow we go again. !😮‍💨🥵

Alright this week is going to be a little bit crazy! . Tomorrow I line up for Alpe Dhuez long tri for the 7th time, 2.2kms swim, 120km bike 3200m⬆️ and a 18km run at 1800m! . I’ll then give the medium distance a go on Thursday also! . Love a challenge. Let’s see what happens! 😬

Close to 4000 triathletes and one swimming pool. That’s a no from me!. Lucky I was able to swim first thing and avoid this chaos. No sport like swimming and having to fight your way just to do a session!!

Why did ANYONE not want this course for stage 21 of #TDF2025 it’s been the most exciting finale to the tour for years. ! . And funnily enough Pog can be beaten if some of the guys utterly go for it. 🤪👀.

I think the beauty of endurance events and racing is the respect you need to give to the training, the hours and the graft. Just signing up and not preparing to tick it off is a weird one to me. .
