Because AI detection tools are basically a scam…. “…ran the story through two third-party Al-detection tools, both of which said that the copy was likely to be human-generated.”.
Wired published an AI-generated story and only discovered it when they tried to pay the author. They did not explain why, but chose to explain how, citing the lack of fact-checking and that three AI checkers were fooled. They retracted with an editor's note.

Some of the most capable people I've met when it comes to using AI are people that jumped into it recently and have beginner energy. I'm reasonable convinced that someone who spends six-months power using ChatGPT can be one of the most valuable resources to an organization.
