Apparently, there are hackers who can get you locked out of your Gmail account by changing your age to 10, adding you to their parent account, and then strongarming you into paying them off. Super. https://t.co/CkVYnwVeDC

@onscreenlol Bad / non-existent grounding on the hdmi cable. Lighter's piezo crystal creates a massive voltage spike to create the arc for the flame, which subsequently creates a magnetic field that induces small currents into the hdmi cable which ruins the signal integrity. Test diff cable.

I have this nagging feeling that we've got bots just posting random quizzes that hit our feeds. You reply and they reply back. Why? Don't people realize that these are just inconsequential distractions from getting shit done?

No one tells you that once you find the right routine for your neurospicy brain, you'll cry. Because life WAS harder. You can finally focus and do things easily without getting overwhelmed. If you're struggling, try The Fabulous.

A word is NOT two bytes: A word is any processor design's natural unit of data. A word was two bytes on YOUR system long ago.

I abhor that computer programmers still use the term “word”. > Size=2 means a word (2 bytes) Just say it’s 2-bytes. Word and Dword and Qword are stupid terms that should never be used by anyone in 2025. Just say how many bytes and be done with it!

You shouldn't ever try to brute force "read" a textbook. You read sections, do some experimenting, go back. It's reference material. It's not a regular book. Trying to read the whole thing is a waste of time and you'll forget it all.

@i2cjak If only kicad had gate and pin swapping and a proper connection between sch and pcb everything would be so much nicer. And a working group drag in both sch and pcb would make me happier.

New fastest shortest-path algorithm in 41 years! Tsinghua researchers broke Dijkstra’s 1984 “sorting barrier,” achieving O(m log^(2/3) n) time. This means faster route planning, less traffic, cheaper deliveries, and more efficient networks - and a CS curriculum revamp =)
