Help protect your church during a storm by securing things that could be at risk. Outside, take down signs, move bins and secure benches. Make sure doors are closed and put temporary boarding behind vulnerable windows. 📸 © brokentaco CC-BY-SA2.0 (St Andrew, Little Snoring)

A gentle reminder the clocks go back by one hour tonight - so you have an extra hour before church tomorrow! Smartphones and digital devices should adjust the time automatically.

Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay, and we're thinking about the clergy who support the mental health of their communities, often neglecting their own. Don't forget that: 🟣 Our Counselling Service is there for clergy and their partners, experiencing difficulties like anxiety,

Many will disagree, but that's the freedom of speech we enjoy in the UK. The graffiti is asking questions of God & society to provoke engagement...here paticularly powerfully below the window of St Thomas Becket who spoke out about unjust power.

The Church of England partnered with “Punjabi, black and brown diaspora, neurodivergent, and LGBTQIA+ groups” to produce the graffiti covering the interior of Canterbury Cathedral. A metaphor for modern Britain. Pissing on the ruins of a beautiful civilisation.

The desecration of Canterbury Cathedral by the Church of England is modern Britain in one image. Our most sacred ground, once the beating heart of English faith, now treated as a playground for cultural decay. Shame on Sarah Mullally for defiling what generations held holy.
