"It's not just about the data, or the science, it's about the conversations, the connections." How do we retain hope in the face of adversity? Calls for courage in our #NetZero Futures workshop at @MonashUni today 👏🌱✊

Here is a sneak peek of the framework that we used in the paper to identify steering effects (i.e. discursive, institutional, relational, resource effects) and their depth of change (i.e. accommodative, reformative, and transformative changes).

Universities are increasingly engaging with the SDGs, but are the SDGs influencing university transformations? Very excited to share my second PhD paper where we analyse the steering effects of the SDGs in four universities, and if those effects have transformed universities.

Another great paper by @andreacuesta_c, published in @ESG_Journal. The paper presents four cases of the steering effects of the SDGs in universities and if these effects are transformative. https://t.co/OAsBnT0D8Z

Many agree universities have a role to play in transformations to sustainable development and achieving the SDGs. But how? That depends on the problem and solutions framing. Great first PhD paper by Andreas Cuesta-Claros. PM if you like a copy. https://t.co/YlAw5Zcar7

Closing this year's #sdnow, @AaltoUniversity's very own @idilgaziulusoy. Her talk makes us question how to refocus our practice towards deep leverage points, consider transitions as 3-fold design challenges (creative, technical, and political) and how design education is changing

In order to move into sustainment, we need to add temporal lenses to the question: What is good or bad design? @incognitosum's talk on Defamiliarising Certainty generated a few nervous giggles when considering futures and possible dystopias. #sdnow

If you’re not already paying attention to @BishtPupul - you need to. She just blew the minds of everyone at #SDNow4 with her talk on Decolonising Futures. 🤯

Insightful session with @relativecreativ at #sdnow4. We created design fictions based on clashes among different #futures, around climate change adaptation, human movement, economy, etc. Wonderful to see the roles of designers being challenged. #decolonisingfutures
