At #GEFCouncil68, @theGEF announced $99.8 million in funding for @UNEP to address some of the most pressing environmental challenges of our time. This funding will not only help protect the environment, but also support communities around the world.
⚡️#GEFcouncil68 approves nearly $700M to improve chemicals & waste management, protect biodiversity & boost resilience in developing countries. Negotiations for the GEF-9 replenishment to start early next year. 🔗Read the full press release:
