Just finished reading India's Near East by @PaliwalAvi and it is intriguing read indeed. Being from North East and keen reader of books on North East, I took up reading it and think that it's an welcome addition. Act East and how it has evolved given deserved space. #books

Finished reading the highly praised book on Himalaya by @calmandfearless and I must say that it is a highly readable book giving us some of the fascinating characters who in their own way have shaped the Himalaya story. I wished for more coverage of the eastern himalaya though.

Just finished reading the book ULFA - The mirage of Dawn by @rajkbhat . It's a book with quite a detailing tracing the formation of ULFA and to present day through various events. The description of the turbulent times and the events underneath is indeed good. Kudos to the writer

Watched the movie Lorni- The flaneur starring @_AdilHussain and found it to be such an interesting watch. Having studied in Shillong and living there for 4 years, I look forward to anything pertaining to the city. The city itself becomes like a character. Kudos to the team.
