I’m not at #SfN24 but some of the lab are there. chronic stress increases negative cog bias across sex but influences activity of new neurons in males, Apoe4 genotype affects functional connectivity differently across & within sex after learning in mid age! Check it out.

So happy this is finally out! A HUGE thank you to all my co-authors 🙏 This work really highlights that more research on female-specific experiences on brain health is urgently needed! You can read the full article here ☺️
Our latest on long-term effects of pregnancy on the brain is out! This is @bonniee_leee 's first paper for her PhD. In a nutshell we found that past pregnancy improves measures of “brain health” in WT but not in an animal model of increased risk for AD.
