Excited that @dotnet 7 RC1 has released but. is it coming to App Service? I've got an upgrade PR that I'm itching to merge ;).

It's exhausting, and is going to continue to be exhausting. It's also a reminder of how _not simple_, and downright dangerous, a pregnancy can be. We're still excited for our second child, but most of that excitement is sitting on hold until they actually arrive.

So we're back on high alert for a trip to the ER again, and likely will be for the rest of this pregnancy. And at somewhere around 32 weeks, Mary will be admitted to the hospital for close monitoring until an eventual c-section delivery, hopefully as late as 36 weeks.

That means the baby cannot be delivered vaginally, and increases the risk that something disrupts those vessels. If they start to bleed, it's very bad for the fetus and requires an emergency c-section.

The baby was looking good, but the ultrasound tech definitely seemed kinda quiet. The midwives called later that day to tell us the ultrasound showed Vasa Previa, which means unprotected umbilical cord blood vessels are running across the cervix.

Come September it had been several weeks since we'd had any sign of bleeding and we were feeling like things had settled down. We had our "20-week" ultrasound (it was actually at 22 weeks because of scheduling issues) last week.

Back in July, Mary was diagnosed with a Subchorionic Hemmorage. Not a huge problem, but it meant occasional bleeding, which sent us to the ER several times (often in the middle of the night). Extra complicated by having a toddler to care for at home.

It's been a minute since I posted much of substance. To start with, I have exciting news: We're expecting our second child, due in January. But it's been a challenging pregnancy and that's part of why it's taken a while to share it. (CW: Pregnancy complications).
