Also the name Ruby sucks😒all of the omega kids names have meanings. Harry is named after an actor because Egbert is a dork, Vrissy is literally explained in the epilogues and Tavros was Gamzee’s doing. Ruby is just her colour like it sucks and it’s not cool enough.
Aside from this being the biggest Rage Nuke ever you guys know that jade still struggles with growing up and when she’s put in the position of a mother it makes sense that she names her kid something childish right. Her struggle with that is a big part of her motherhood.

u know some moments in hsbc have some of the best writing I've seen for Jade and why the relationship between her and her own child is so complicated bc of a selfish yet also genuine understandable wishes and it makes me love this comic. Then the child's name is Yiffy.
