Reports of an active shooter at Central Catholic High School in Oakland were a hoax, according to school officials. There was no shooter at the school. A county spokesperson said similar reports were made at two other schools in the area.

Update: Second Avenue Commons officially opened its low-barrier shelter this afternoon, with 95 beds and space for 30 overflow beds. It’s located in downtown Pittsburgh at 700 Second Avenue, and will open its day program and primary care clinic tomorrow at 9 a.m.
