love both these places, and this is accurate.
Tokyo is basically the opposite of SF. SF looks like the past but builds the future; Tokyo looks like the future but is rooted deeply in the past. A city that struggles to fit 1M vs. 40M with no problem at all.

Yep.
I just renewed my Singapore visa for 3 years. It’s a paradise here. - 5-15% income tax for high income (100k to 500k). No capital gain tax, 9% sales tax, no-tipping culture. - English speaking and top schools for our kids. Best medical system I've experienced. - 26-32º all-year

i wore a blood glucose monitor for 2 weeks. my biggest realization was how bad oat milk is for you. it spikes your blood sugar like crazy and is full of processed carbs. just drink almond milk or whole milk instead.
