The potential for identity #fraud is huge. Thankfully I’ve lodged it with @actionfrauduk and they’ve been very helpful with providing guidance of next steps. But I cannot believe the lack of action from @AmazonUK . They could not care less.

4 phone calls and 6 hours later, I finally get told it’s been escalated to the fraud department and I should hear back in 24-48 hours. I had the email address of the person who took over my account, they couldn’t guarantee they’d block it.

When I called @AmazonHelp 5 minutes after I had found out, I was asked multiple times to log into my account in order to verify it. Obviously this isn’t possible. Somehow that message couldn’t get through.

I got #hacked today. Someone managed to log into my @AmazonUK account from India and change the password and email address within 3 minutes. My own negligence means they have my entire address history, payment details for every card and other personal information. @AmazonHelp

@SumUp Surely this is #fraud and SumUp need to have a serious look at how they allow this to happen. The second card arrived today and there has been no communication about closing the first account.

My husband received two bank cards from @SumUp - he did not signed up. They confirmed someone had opened an account in his name but couldn't confirm how. Someone has since transferred £3k into said account. Seems it's happened before but are unhelpful
