@amblesideac club run from Grasmere last night. A few of our North Lakes counterparts from @KeswickAC crossed the border at Dunmail to join us, which was nice. Our group did the Seat Sandal race route on another pleasant Lakeland evening. In contrast, it's pissin' it down today!

First race of the year for me today and also the first @amblesideac club champs - The King of the Castle. Short and sharp uphill time trial from Borrowdale YHA to the summit of Castle Crag. A real lung burner on a real stunner of a day! 👑☀️

Nice surprise at the @amblesideac Christmas Do on Saturday. Club Championship M V40 winner! 🏆 The last time the results were updated I was in 2nd place and had no expectations of winning. I can't think of a better way to bow out of my 40s 😊 Nice to earn the mug I designed too!
