Bad analogy. India has parliamentary democracy, not presidential system. PM alone can’t decide use of nuclear weapons. Cabinet Committee on Security’s approval required. Also,on national security issues PM is boss. But, Constitutional posts filling requires political consensus.

What’s changed? When @sherryontopp was actually on top he mishandled the party from within. Now the couple are throwing stones at it from outside. Aim: give leadership back to them or they will sabotage & perhaps flee.
History repeats itself and the Congress doesn't learn from mistakes - for reference go back to the period of June 2021 - November 2021 ( one year before Punjab polls) - and tell me what's changed - precious little :)

What did I tell you? Glad gov has begun pruning Indigo’s market share. But it also requires opening the space to new entrants. Not have Air India swallow the vacated space.
Government enhances curtailment of IndiGo flights - now 10 per cent of flights curtailed. This means at least 220 scheduled flights will be grounded.

Whopping Vishnu? It’s symbolic penalty for an airline which has cornered 60-65% of market. It can prune a few less profit-making flts.
DGCA orders IndiGo to cut flights by 5 %, particularly flights on high-demand sectors. The airline usually operates at least 2200 flights daily. The reduction translates to a whopping 110 flights daily - that's a huge penalty for operational non-compliance.
