Nothing to see here… Just the head of the NIH (Jay Bhattacharya) being feted and accepting an award from a bunch of cranks and anti-vaxxers 🤯🤯🤯
🧵 NIH Director Jay Bhattacharya received an award at the Brownstone Institute's annual conference last weekend. Robert Malone (of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices) was also at the event. His wife's a Brownstone "senior scholar". Here's who else was there...

My favorite thing abt Nancy Pelosi is that the most effective legislator of the last 50 years was elected to Congress at the age of 47, *after* she raised five children... So if you're a 45yr old overwhelmed mom who doesn't know what's next... you could still be Nancy Pelosi

Just so we are clear: ICE went into a day care center—a private business—without a judicial warrant, and unlawfully kidnapped a worker in front of parents and children. Our taxpayer dollars are being used to violate our rights, terrorize our communities, and traumatize

Honestly, I know he’s doing a bit a little, but it’s sort of legit true. Higher ed is ~3-5% of the country (Coal mining is below 1%). If we didn’t have weird cultural hang ups it would seem very straightforwardly voters angry at party that wants to destroy their livelihoods.
The Republican Party has nothing to offer downwardly mobile voters with graduate degrees. Just completely (economically, culturally) out of touch with this demographic.

So smart. Many memory care units also label rooms so that those with dementia can remember where they are.

This is how it works in a Kleptocracy. If you’ve enough status and wealth you can skip the queue for medical treatment or even buy yourself a pardon.

This tragedy graphically illustrates why dual-cab utes, and particularly the US full-size monstrosities, should not be a default family vehicle in which to take the kids to school.

If you’re in your 30’s and losing your vision, memory and endurance then I’m sorry to tell you, but you have a chronic health condition. Very likely in this era to be caused by repeated SARS CoV 2 infections.
I also think a lot of people kinda forgot that your memory, vision, and endurance get a lot worse in your 30s

This is what shits me when I explain how badly covid cooked my brain at the age of 35, & everyone goes "oooh well we all slow down as we age, it's just a getting old thing" NO! That shit caused me serious brain issues
most of your cognitive functions are actually supposed to get better in your 30s. You’re not supposed to be seeing significant declines in memory and cognition until your 60s.

Two new Edmontosaurus skeletons with preserved skin just got published by Paul Sereno and collegues. They had a fleshy scaly crest over their back and hoofed feet! I was lucky enough to see the specimens last summer. The publication is open access: https://t.co/MEvnyNAk6D
