“I take this incident very seriously.” Greek PM @kmitsotakis reacts to @nytimes video evidence of Greek authorities ditching migrants at sea. This “completely unacceptable practice” is “already being investigated,” he says in the first interview since his party’s election win.

@amanpour @kmitsotakis @nytimes This arrogant conservative, right-wing is creating new nomenclature to the glossary such as „pushforward“. If it wasn’t for the Turkish government still shamefully honoring the EU-Turkey shady migrant deal, Greece would have been battered by the flocking masses worse than 2015.…

@amanpour @kmitsotakis @nytimes "Greece is getting its fair share of criticism for pushbacks". I guess the choice of words matter here.

@amanpour @kmitsotakis @nytimes We're very lucky we've been landed this guy. Big, numerous and organized smear campaigns at work in SM against him, mainly orchestrated by, and centred at the opposition Syriza chaotic HQ. Voters rewarded competence and plan for the future They denounced low-quality populism

@amanpour @kmitsotakis @nytimes Unfortunately in Greece there is the Mitsotakis regime. His gov has paid off all most of the journalists and most people learn nothing of the scandals or the pushbacks. None of your greek colleagues dared to ask such a question. In Greece everyone acts as if nothing happened

@amanpour @kmitsotakis @nytimes The Greek journalists would never ask him such difficult questions. They ask him ''what's your favorite food'' and this is how he wins the elections. Media, justice, funds, all controled by him.
