Had a fun debugging moment today about a feature not working in production build of RN app: AI: "Here’s what might be wrong." Me: "Nope" AI: "Maybe this?" Me: "Still nope" Me: "Finds leftover console.dir() that RN strips in production" AI: Great catch 😂 Love when I end

I started persisting the QueryClient to AsyncStorage. That means: ➡️ Cached API responses survive app restarts ➡️ The app boots with real data immediately ➡️ Network fetch happens silently in background to get the latest data

React Query is amazing… but on React Native it loses everything on restart. Which means: ❌ slow initial load ❌ loading states I wanted instant startup, so here’s the trick I used.
