You want athletic kids?? expose them to athletic things. Jump, leap, duck, crawl, sprint and race. Start early in life and expose them often. Especially 2021 so many things working against getting children to move, adults must work harder than ever to get kids moving #LTAD

Culture is not just one thing; it’s everything. Culture drives expectation and beliefs. Expectations and beliefs drive behaviors. Behaviors drive habits. And habits create the future. It all starts with culture. 📷 PG 16 from “The Power of Positive Leadership”

Development is: Getting out of your comfort zone Adversity Preparation Asking questions Willingness to learn Listening Failure Development isn’t: Just showing up Waiting for the whistle Complaining Having a closed mind Being too cool to work Thinking “I’ll do it when it matters”

Always remember, your character becomes your legacy as an athlete. This is what you are remembered by. Not only do sports build character, but even more importantly, it reveals character. You cannot hide from adversity as an athlete. Build your Legacy!

Don't forget that every champion was originally someone who decided they would not give up on their goals. They pushed through, they practiced, and they set their minds to getting better and winning. You can do it too.

Regardless of how good you were this season, don’t ever underestimate how much better you can get in 7-8 months. With a strategic, precise skill development plan & a strength/conditioning plan that works on the right things, you can come into the new season a much better player!

Your culture is not the highest standard you preach, it is the lowest standard you allow. Preach the standard, live the standard, hold others accountable to the standard.

Two aspects of coaching that we should never lose sight of. 1. How we speak will generally determine how they listen. 2. How we coach will generally determine how they learn.
