Ten years ago today, I signed the Affordable Care Act into law. It protected preexisting conditions, cut the uninsured rate in half, and lots more. But it's still under political attack right when we need care the most. We have to protect it, build on it, until we cover everyone.

As we mark the 10th anniversary of the Affordable Care Act, I call on the President to drop his lawsuit attacking Americans’ health care. We should be fighting to ensure more people have access to quality care, not doing the opposite. #ProtectOurCare

In January, Donald Trump claimed the coronavirus was “totally under control.” In February, he said it would disappear. Now, he’s saying it “could’ve been stopped pretty easily if we had known.” Donald Trump knew. He failed to act. And now we’re paying the price.

Social distancing is working. We need to vigorously maintain it. Lives depend on it. This is not about any one of us — it’s about all of us.

Wow! Big $ GOP donor Mike Gula leaving his firm to sell medical supplies/PPE! Where is he getting the supplies & how can he fill 100 million orders of masks when states can’t get them? What are his relationships? Will his PPE come from fed stockpile?

It’s World Health Day, and we owe a profound debt of gratitude to all our medical professionals. They’re still giving their all for us every day, at great risk to themselves, and we can’t thank them enough for their bravery and their service.

We want to hear from Dr. Fauci!

We need more ventilators now!! This is a crisis!

We need the federal government to use the Defense Production Act so that we can get the medical supplies we desperately need. We can’t just wait for companies to come forward with offers and hope they will. This is a national emergency.

Not everybody can stay home, and we owe a big debt of gratitude to health professionals, transit and airport workers, first responders, and everyone keeping our communities going. Leaders have to step up to support people whose lives and livelihoods take a hit in the weeks ahead.

Watch this. It shows why we should all do the right thing and stay home to the fullest extent possible. All of us can help slow the spread of the virus, protecting the elderly, the vulnerable, and each other.

With more people staying home to stem this crisis, shutting off water, electricity, internet, and phone services for those who can’t pay their bills could have devastating consequences. That's why I’m calling on companies to end shutoffs and I thank those that have already acted.
