Here's the one spot in Seattle you can see Mount Adams. I didn't think it was possible, but I calculated a viewshed and was shocked to find it accurate. It's 105 miles away, but east of the crest and mostly behind Mt Rainier from Seattle. Kind of amazing.

It feels very PNW, all the stations have stages setup and lots of high school bands performing. Mountlake Terrace jazz band playing here. A huge metro but we're still wood paneling and flannel at heart

I felt really good about downtown Seattle tonight. I walked from the stadium through Pioneer Sq and down 2nd to University St, and it felt normal. Road the 1-line, and the train and stations were spotless and free from dodginess. Very positive vibes, haven't felt for a long time
