Made it to night THREE of Hull Town Meeting, just in time to vote on the MBTA communities act zoning change. After almost two hours of debate, it passes by a 2-1 margin.

All five episodes are out now. I also talked to family members of donors about their interrupted grief, explored the dark past of our nation's medical schools, and went to the Mütter Museum in Philly to learn how they're reckoning with their collections.

Another category of information Massachusetts keeps secret (unlike many other states): autopsy reports. And here's a case where it could be really useful to have it:

To report on how police respond to sexual assaults, it’s not as simple as requesting the reports and checking their work. Because in Massachusetts, *all* reports of sexual assault (and domestic violence) are secret. We found that hurts survivors (and protects perpetrators).

@wwuthmann spent a lot of time reporting this investigation, and it was especially difficult because sexual assault police reports aren't public in Massachusetts. But he uncovered a search warrant affidavit that told some of the horrifying story.

Over two years, four women told police Alvin Campbell sexually assaulted them. DNA and other evidence pointed to him. Yet he wasn't arrested until a *fifth* woman came forward. Boston police won't answer questions about why.

The podcast also digs into the dark history of medical schools, where bodysnatching was de rigueur. And I visit the Mütter Museum in Philly as they ask whether they can continue to ethically display so many human remains.
