The New York Times reports that holdouts who visited Trump on Wednesday “walked out with signed merchandise, photos in the Oval Office and, by some accounts, a newfound appreciation for the bill.”

“It's going to be really tough to stand up with a straight face and say, ‘I voted for this bill because it was the right thing to do for this country,’” says former Montana Sen. Jon Tester on the Trump bill that guts the social safety net for millions of Americans.
