Just had a fascinating talk with Dr. Susanna Schellenberg (@Schellenberg_1), about her great book, The Unity of Perception: Content, Consciousness, Evidence. I think I just broke my brain, honestly. Stay tuned, and run and buy her book.

And I can't wait to see many of you at future workshops in Miami on topics like mental and scientific representation and animal minds. I'm also super excited to introduce my banana and palm trees to all of their new friends!

The past year has been a veritable whirlwind of life-changing ups and downs. But overall, I have been exceedingly fortunate, so may this post assert my gratitude and help spread the mighty good luck that I’ve enjoyed!

At the same time, I am deeply grateful to have had the opportunity to work with my brilliant and amazing colleagues and students at OU, many of whom I consider dear friends. From the bottom of my heart, I will miss you.

It’s hard to imagine a department for which my current research interests could be a better fit, and I'm thrilled to continue my research among such inspiring philosophers! It will also be nice, and a relief, to be closer to my family not to mention living in a tropical paradise!

I’m beyond honored, and utterly ecstatic, to have as my colleagues a group of philosophers whose work I’ve been reading and admiring for years, and to have the opportunity to work with such talented and enthusiastic graduate students.
