BeamXR (@teambeamxr) inspired me to jab some life into my neglected @Twitch channel… loaded up @rxpharmacytech’s System Critical II on my Meta Quest 3 to try my hand at streaming…. …and ohhh boy I have a lot to learn 😂.

Lushfoil Photography Sim looks like just the perfect thing for a serial WANDERer like me. PCVR only though. Bummer. guess I still got Brink and National Geographic Explore VR, but I really hope this gets a standalone release too.

When a coworker saw me in my Quest 3 throwing up three high def monitors anywhere I want. with no cables, pass-through keyboard/trackpad and virtual environments. he told me it was "witch craft". I told him I prefer the term *magic* 😂

Today I learned that; though it was 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘦𝘳 swiftly delisted, the desktop version of Samsung Internet I got from the Microsoft Store works as portable software. Security policy allowed it, so I now have the desktop version of Samsung Internet on my work computer 🤩

I avoided Minecraft like the plague. Intended to never play this game. then I had a son. and he wore me down with his constant requests to both get into it and get me into it. Now we have routine "Minecraft Time" 😅

The "dodgeroll + chip damage + quickly depleting stamina bar" genre is boring, it's overdone, and it's not genuine challenge. We all come after games that do nothing but increase enemy health/damage on harder difficulties, but we let this fly?.

I've taken every remote work meeting in my Meta Quest 3 since Avatar Selfie Cam hit my HMD. Team jokester made a whole one remark about me "starting my vtuber career" the first time I showed up like this. but that's the only noteworthy reaction. It's been normal in meetings.

I appreciate that the "normal phone" dimensions of the Galaxy Z Fold7 has brought so many first time foldable owners. but also it's kinda sad when they get opened up to soooo many possibilities, but can't think of any other way to utilize it aside from watching videos.

You know what I wanna see? VR headsets with silicon carbon batteries. The fact that there's no dangly things or rear bulk required to use Meta Quest already amazes me, but imagine them slimming it down with Si-C. or going for the max capacity they can fit in the current body.

Immersive gaming is just a fraction of what Meta Quest 3 is great at - it's much 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 bigger than just games. Furthermore, it's screen 𝘪𝘴 more than sharp enough for serious productivity - even in a super visual, super text heavy job like mine.
