Another ice margin view, different ice sheet lobe but only a few miles away. Outwash plain to the SW, ice-marginal ridge (with "flatirons"), then stagnant ice terrain to NE, here full of wetlands and lakes. Big ice-walled lake plain toward top center, smaller ones as well.

Using lidar brings out the true weirdness of glacial landforms in northern Wisconsin and Minnesota. Views of the last-glacial ice margin, Langlade County, WI. Outwash plain to the N, then ice marginal ridge, and S of that, stagnant ice landforms.
