wrong. socialists believe that value is produced by the workers. they want to "seize it from the rich" because the rich have stolen it from them.
A fundamental weakness of socialism is that socialists don’t understand what value is. They think value is just “there” and all they have to do is seize it from the rich and give it to the poor. Value is created by talented people with ideas who need to be incentivised to create.

the workers at my child’s daycare should be paid better. families should be paying less for this absolutely essential service. take the profit motive out and make childcare free for all.

this would be literally life changing. childcare costs are absolutely insane ($30,000/yr in boston). we need policies like this to become reality.
the mamdani policy i’m most excited about is universal childcare. i don’t think people realize just how huge this would be for the children and parents of new york.

i find it absolutely insane that cuomo's line is that zohran has no political experience and has never worked a job. he is literally an elected member of the NYS assembly. he's worked on a bunch of campaigns before.
