I decided to implement a workflow I'm doing atm in both Rust and Go Download a file, parse the file, import into db, do some nlopt I spent quite a while tuning the Rust code, but the Go code which I spent no effort on is within milliseconds, when concurrency added, Go nailed it

There's a relentless pursuit of features in some companies, which I totally understand, you have to look busy. But if features come and quality drops, people leave, both users and engineers.

I think most engineering teams need a floater, either one person or a small team who just go around and make things better. Could be a bit of infra, CI stuff, linting fixes or even just pairing.

Really enjoying using Sleeve ( https://t.co/aNygRkoShB) to display album art, I never really used that part of my screen much anyway
