Watching the Iowa State-Kansas State CFB season-opener in Ireland today, I keep thinking:. When are we going to see a rematch of the 1874 series between McGill and Harvard in Montreal? (I believe the rugby teams played in the 150-year anniversary Covo Cup match last October.)

Laurier’s 2025 QB transition reminds me of Western’s in 2016 — my rookie year. One of the top QBs in team history (Finch, Elgersma) is succeeded by an NCAA transfer (Merchant, Wither) who had limited to no snaps down south. We broke a 23-year Vanier drought the next year.
