Didn't say that earlier because I'm busy working on the Nobel Prize in Literature, which has gone to a Hungarian - another country with a fraught relationship with Eurovision!

The quote from his team on this is the same as before: "We do not support the exclusion of Israel from international competitions such as the Eurovision Song Contest. Decisions on this matter, as well as questions concerning hosting, fall under the responsibility of the EBU."

Shows the particular issue when an architect's accused of misconduct - you can't really cancel a building that's been years in the planning and had millions spent on it

Many commissioners insist Adjaye is no longer involved in projects, but another leading architect questioned if likely. "What’s he doing? Sitting in a corner of the office reading a book?”

Only commissioner I could get to speak on record about him was the Thabo Mbeki Presidential Center in Johannesburg who said they "felt a responsibility to 'not condemn David into oblivion" and Adjaye had agreed to discuss the allegations publicly when it opens (2028)

David Adjaye should be the man of the moment with three great buildings opening this autumn, but - over two years on from sexual misconduct allegations - commissioners (at least in the U.S. and UK) are still keeping a wide birth
