Hospitals less than 20 minutes away from each other can have totally different approaches to similar disease process based on what they have on formulary / tradition / staffing models

Regional practice pattern variations are so fascinating to me. I wish we had a more robust way of studying them and researching them as a form of quasi-experimental methods.
