This is actually smart. $KLAR is basically using deposit money to fund purchases and earning on both sides. It looks like a win win but I’m guessing the real test is what happens when people stop paying back. Still pretty clever though.
$KLAR has a genius business model. It attracted $13B in customer deposits at its Swedish bank by offering a high interest rate ≈3%. It then uses these funds to lend to consumers buying products. Merchants get charged 3% by Klarna on each purchase. This is the credit card killer.
