How can we build a flourishing society by using what we know about human nature to design our technology—rather than let technology shape our society? I look forward to sharing more in the coming months and hearing what you think.

How do we come together to determine our direction for collective action/movement and, importantly, what tools we'll use to get there? In the book I look at how we can use technologies (like digital media and AI) to aid, rather than replace, our human capacity for deliberation.

Humanity’s great leaps forward were all propelled by cultural inventions that accelerated our rate of innovation and built collective wisdom. Solving current global challenges such as climate change and failing social institutions will require similarly fundamental inventions.

Throughout history, there have been large swaths of time when people lived without much in the way of our modern concept of innovation - major shifts in civilization, philosophy/world view, and the tools/technology we use.
