I think we should normalize short videogames.
Resident Evil Village is a nice reminder that not every game needs an infinite amount of sidequests, a map bigger than Skyrim and a lot of hours of story content to be worth the money.
I'd much rather play less but with more quality

One may rightfully argue that this is being done to promote the game, but let's be real:
Planting trees to promote a game will still do far more good to the planet than writing cynical comments on Twitter will.
With their "Play and Plant" program, Sony will donate one tree to a reforestation project for every Horizon Forbidden West player who unlocks the "Reached the Daunt" trophy. The effort covers lands in Wisconsin, California, and Florida.

After playing the game a few hours, Final Fantasy XVI's story-telling felt strong in some moments, and subtle & elegant in others.
"Confusing" is definitely a word I wouldn't use.
If you ever read a fantasy book written for adults, you shouldn't have problems with this.
